Converted from a stone stable, this detached holiday cottage situated in the owner’s grounds, has a homely, cosy interior with open fire and is set in an elevated position with stunning panoramic views of rolling fields and fir forests with the River Inny meandering through the valley below. Set midway between Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, it is just five miles south of the historic town of Launceston with its iconic medieval castle set high on a hill. The Stable has its own cobbled south-facing courtyard with small fish pond and lawned garden which is shared with the friendly owners who live next door. Shop 2 miles, pub/restaurant 1 mile.

  3. A excellent location for those who wish for peace and quiet, no traffic noise what so ever only a distant rooster could be heard. A view to die for from the master bedroom.   10. As depicted, it was small, snug warm and cosy, remote but with easy access to Launceston. Andy and Diane made us very welcome and were there to help if required; but otherwise we were left on our own. The woods were excellent with many different trails leading to the Rivers Inney & Tamar, with lots of good walking and wildlife. Nov 2009.
