Conveniently located for Southwold’s unique selection of shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants, the beach is also just a short stroll away. A holiday in Southwold is like a journey back in time, it has a lighthouse, a colourful array of beach huts and a renovated (and much acclaimed) pier.
Guests can enjoy a short walk to the harbour for a pint of Adnams and a trip on the foot ferry (seasonal) to Walberswick for an afternoon’s crabbing. A great area for cycling, walking, sailing, golf and bird watching (RSPB at Minsmere is a short drive away). Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

  1. The accommodation was really spacious and is much bigger than it looks in the picture. There were 3 toilets and two bathrooms (one was an on suit). The location was right on the highstreet and although Southwold is a small village we didn’t have to travel far for the beach and restaurants. I was really impressed with this apartment which actually felt like a house. Dec 2011.
  2. Perfect accommodation for 3 couples. Kitchen big and well equipped. All bedrooms really good size. Great location to enjoy the town, the beach/ pier, as well as walking opportunities. Although right in the middle of town, it was very quiet at night and we all slept really well. Planning to return next year. Oct 2011.
