1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

The Old Stables at Walnut Tree Farm is a superb, first floor, Grade II listed barn conversion with magnificent views, adjacent to the owner’s farm. Situated in the countryside offering the benefit of a quiet and relaxing holiday, yet only 5 miles from Cheshire Oaks designer outlet village. Transport links are excellent with Chester being only 8 miles away with its famous Rows, cathedral and world-renowned zoo. Manchester and Liverpool just 30 minutes away. Golf and windsurfing available nearby, whilst Delamere Forest Park is but a short drive. Shops 1 mile, pub with good food and real ale 300 yards.

First floor: Entrance hall. Spacious beamed living/dining room with wood-burning stove and well-equipped kitchen area. Two double bedrooms, one with feature roll-top bath. Two single bedrooms, one with additional pull-out single bed (for +1, to form double bed). Two shower rooms with toilet.

  1. It was quiet yet close to many amenities - only 10 minutes train ride from Chester. Ideal for our family as the two sets of bedrooms were at each end of the building allowing some privacy (and peace!). Dec 2012.

The property was extremely comfortably and excellently located for a quiet stay yet only 5 minutes from the M56 making it on eminent to visit the sites of Chester, Manchester, Liverpool and North Wales which were all within a maximum of one hours drive away. The owners were superb and dealt swiftly with any initial queries we had, even did some washing for us on the only occasion that the washing machine broke down. Overall the cottage was super comfortable and a real home from home. We would seriously consider another stay there soon. June 2012.

  5. Fantastic property in a nice peacful setting. Good pub serving good food and even better drink ! Master bedroom is stunning, a shame my parents laid claim to it ! An excellent base with lots to see and all within a reasonable distance. We took in Chester,Liverpool, Manchester and some local attractions too and we were only there for a week ! All in all a great part of the UK to visit made all the better when you are staying in a quality cottage. April 2012.

  8. The property was lovely (although washing machine was ’tricky’ and would have been nice to state that cot bedding wasn’t provided). You felt like you were in the middle of nowhere but actually weren’t far from the village/town. We found it a great location to get to Liverpool as well (the Albert Dock area is worth a visit). Log burner a great plus, especially, if like us you stayed in the property in the ’depths of winter’. We are already considering staying again at The Old Stables. Feb 2012.
  9. Fantastic cottage, brilliant location for Cheshire Oaks shopping, lovely Chinese down in village. The cottage itself if very spacious, master bedroom amazing!! Kitchen was great and we used it ALOT! Jan 2012.
