Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. A really clean and comfortable cottage. Oct 2011.
  2. Excellent cottage with great hosts - everything explained well. Would return. Sept 2011.
  3. In a great position to get around the area. Roads can be quite narrow in places. Found the owners to be friendly and obliging. Care needs taking when exiting the gateways of the property due to hedges. We enjoyed the company of fellow guests in the next cottage. Both Southwold and Thorpeness (must find the ’Red House in the sky!!!!) are a must to visit. Loads of public footpaths in the area, great for those with dogs. We would definitely recommend this cottage to those who love to have a quiet holiday. Village short way away with a very well stocked shop. Aug 2011.
  4. This is a secluded cottage even though on a B road. All on the ground floor, and well maintained. A grab rail for the bath would be welcome, though. Spacious parking area next to a paddock and a pink rose hedge. Walks in the fields from the cottage door, a lovely village nearby with an excellent village store. July 2011.
  5. We very much enjoyed our Suffolk break, the accommodation was first class. We found loads of things to do, Southwold, Dunwich heath on a sunny day, Aldeboroughand Snape and a facinating day at Sutton Hoo. We spread our evening meals between the Crown at Weybread and the Low House at Laxfield, both having good food and excelent value. The only very small niggle was the entry and exit from the site onto the road which need extreme care. April 2011.
  6. Well maintained clean - everything as the brochure said. April 2010.
  7. It was compact but provided everything I needed and was well presented and comfortable. It was a pleasure to come ’home’ to in the evening. Sept 2009.
  8. Good location - only a short walk to nearest shop and pub - both very friendly. Owner made us feel very welcome - thanks for the eggs. The owners were very friendly and the accommodation was very clean and welcoming. The location was perfect for a relaxing break away from the stresses and strains of working life. Aug 2009.
  9. Excellent base for walking. Lovely cottage. July 2009.
  10. The accommodation was tastefully decorated and the images on the website does not do it justice. The owner was friendly and very helpful. In the future we plan to go there again. April 2008.
