1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

This attractive, single-storey, converted barn is one of four, adjacent to the owner’s home, located within 130 acres of working arable farm with footpaths. Completely refurbished to a very high standard, it makes an ideal holiday retreat, situated just back from the road midway between the charming historic towns of Midhurst and Petworth (3 miles). Petworth House and Gardens are worth a visit, with many concerts held there throughout the year. Cowdray is close by, famous for polo, while further afield are Goodwood, for horse and motor racing, and Chichester with its cathedral, festival theatre and harbour tours. Scenic walks along the South Downs, NT homes and gardens, and beaches at Worthing or The Witterings are within easy reach. Shops 3 miles, pub ¼ mile.

  3. It wouold be helpful if WiFi were installed as the 3G mobile reception is very poor in the property. Apart from that, the property is in a lovely location, mid-way between Midhurst and Petworth with lots to do even on wet days. Recommended are Arundel Castle and the Cowdray Estate Model Farm. The Downs are also fabulous any time of year. Oct 2011.
  4. This property is much better and bigger than we thought it would be. Excellent conversion lots of space and excellent quality furnishings. (Could do with a big chest of drawers in the main bedroom though) Great place to explore the countryside and beyond. Hazlemere is a great place to get the train up to London and nice large Tesco in Petersfield. July 2011.
  5. The cottage was presented to a high standard and was certainly one of the best equipped self catering properties I have stayed in. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property to friends but for one issue - the road noise from the A272. As someone who does not know the area well this was a surprise. The property is very close to this busy route. If you want a peaceful rural retreat and are a light sleeper this may not be the right holiday location for you. April 2011.
