Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The property is hidden away down a long T junction but the owner was on hand on the telephone to guide us to the property. Our party had three cars and there was enough parking space. The three bathrooms in the property were really handy - meant no waiting around for bathroom access so we could start our country walks nice and early! Selbone is a pretty town about 30mins walk from the property and we enjoyed the local food very much - everyone was nice and friendly. May 2012.
  2. Delightful, clean and unfussy accommodation. Perfect for a short stay. April 2012.
  3. Very comfortable lounge seats eight with a log burning stove and views over gorgeous countryside. Lovely well equipped kitchen. An excellent circular country walk starts from outside the front door. March 2012.
  4. Nicely decorated and fitted out with good quality equipment. Quiet, peaceful location with footpaths on the door-step and a moderate walk into the village. Ideal accommodation for our party of 2 couples, an 11 mth old, and 2 single people. Friendly, helpful owner. One of very few properties that will take 2 dogs. March 2012.
  5. This is an excellent property. We used it for to celebrate a 50th birthday. The accommodation was well maintained and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the location and the snow on the Sunday was an added bonus. Feb 2012.
  6. A beautiful part of Hampshire, and a historic location. Fantastic location for walkers - right on the Hangars Way. Very comfortable and flexible accomodation, with good facilities for the dog. Local facilities and pubs offer good selection of foodstuffs and eateries. Dec 2011.
  7. The Barn was in a quiet location down a windy country lane, well worth the drive though! A superbly furnitured, beautiful bedrooms, and small touches of shampoo etc in the bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Oct 2011.
  8. Wonderful converted barn, perfect for large family groups. Amazing location for quiet, relaxing holiday with lovely country walks. Oct 2011.
  9. The owners were friendly & very accommodating, knowledgeable about the area and offered reliable advice about eating locally. Excellent location for walking, once we arrived no one used there car until the day we left. We all agreed we would love to go back and as regular users of rented cottages, this is the first one that we all agreed was worth a return trip!! June 2011.

  12. Excellent family holiday home located in beautiful countryside. Take bikes; the children enjoyed playing out and it was very safe to do so. There is limited mobile phone reception however free wi fi is available for those who want to touch base with the wider world!! May 2011.
  13. Lovely rural/farmyard setting, with great walks nearby, but also close to local places to visit such as Jane Austen’s house. AS a group of 5 women it was lovely to have a room each and plenty of space to relax; kitchen was well equipped, and nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the early sunshine. April 2011.
  14. a very well provided property with lovely towels - a random thing I know but good towels are important! Top tips would be arrive in day light and go food shopping on the way. Owners are nearby but not in your face - ideal! March 2011.
  15. We knew the area well as we lived nearby for almost forty years. We used the cottage in order to organise our daughter’s wedding in a church three miles away followed by a reception in a barn nearby. It was the perfect choice as people came and went and it delighted all the family. It far exceeded our greatest hopes. Feb 2011.
  16. It was lovely and clean, plenty of towels, toilet rolls, etc. We wanted for nothing. Some places you have to put money in a metre to pay for electricity, which annoys me no end, but not here, it was all included. We wanted for nothing. Jan 2011.
  17. Very remote so very quiet. Lots os fantastic walks starting right outside. Jan 2011.
  18. Friendly helpful owners. Lovely farming location, with good walks. Great for family get togethers. Oct 2010.
