Located 1 mile from the old market town of Axminster, River Cottage HQ and Canteen, and 5 miles from the picturesque seaside resort of Lyme Regis, on the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast, this single storey 19th-century barn conversion is an excellent holiday home to explore East Devon and Dorset. Enjoy lovely country and coastal walks, fishing and golf, or visit the many NT properties in the area and family attractions such as the Donkey Sanctuary and Pecorama. Shops and pubs 1 mile.

All on ground floor: Living room with beams/dining room with beams/kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite bathroom and toilet, 1 twin with en-suite shower room and toilet.

Thermostatic electric heaters, electricity and bed linen included. Cot. High chair. Freeview TV. DVD. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine (in external utility room). Freezer. Enclosed lawned garden and courtyard with furniture. Parking (2 cars). No smoking. NB: There is a small pond 20 yards.

  6. The location of the property was in a very peaceful setting. The garden area was really big and safe for our children to play in. The property was also within a short drive of local shops, pubs and only about a ten minute drive to the beaches at Lyme Regis and Charmouth. July 2010.

  14. The owners were delightful and we especially enjoyed saying hello to the owners horses every morning. We were also very happy to find a home made cream tea waiting for us on our arrival. The views from the garden were very scenic and it was lovely to hear Axminster church bells every evening. All in all this was one of the best cottages we have stayed at. June 2009.
  15. Extremely hospitable owners, lovely view over Axminster. Feel you could add that property has a selection of outdoor toys and games etc. Not that we took children, but felt it worth mentioning. June 2009.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
