  1. A truly wonderful property. Exceptionally cosy, magnificent views, very good beds, excellent location. Owners absolutely lovely - we will be remembered as our dalmatian unfortunately caught one of their free range hens but they were wonderful about it (very sorry again !). Without doubt one of the very best cottages we have ever stayed in. Would return again tomorrow given the chance. Excellent! April 2012.
  2. Excellent cottage, we had a fabulous weekend and would definitely return in the future! Feb 2012.
  3. The best cottage we have ever stayed in. Stunning location with beautiful views across the Moorland. Was so great so be able to make use of the owners land to walk the dog first thing in the morning. The cottage itself is warm and cosy and very tastefully decorated. Owners provided friendly welcome along with fresh flowers and home made shortbread. Highly recommended. Sept 2011.
  4. Fantastic cottage, truly a home-from-home. Aug 2011.

  9. Superbly furnished, nice welcoming touches - home made shortbread and milk provided, as well as tea and coffee. All the things you might forget like washing up liquid. The views are outstanding, who needs a TV when you can watch the sky over the moorlands. It was exceptionally clean - I could not find a spec of dirt anywhere. The furnishings were well chosen and the attention to detail really brought out the best of each room. The bedclothes and towels were of hotel standards, there was plenty of hot water and the cottage was very warm and welcoming.
