In the heart of Combe Martin, North Devon, with its spectacular scenery and superb surfing beaches at Croyde and Woolacombe, this semi-detached barn conversion is well presented and equipped. It is an excellent holiday home to enjoy the many family attractions in this area and come back to, to relax on decked area in the courtyard with a glass of wine and the board games provided. There is fishing and pony trekking, exploring the dramatic north coast and Exmoor with its wonderful scenery and walking. A golf course can be found 4 miles from the property. Also the popular family attractions of Watermouth Castle and Theme Park, Exmoor Zoological Gardens and the Dinosaur and Wildlife Park are within easy reach. Shop 0.25 miles, pub with food 200 yards.

  1. We actually went to this property last year as well and returned because we really liked the cottage and it is in an excellent location. It is lovely after a long drive there that we never travelled far during the week - Woolacoombe, Croyde, Coombe Martin Beach, Lynmouth, Illfracombe and Arlington Court are all so close and there is lots to do for families without having to spend lots of money. aUG 2012.
  2. Great cottage. Excellent fixtures and fittings. Lovely clean and spacious kitchen. Well-presented bedrooms. Comfy sofas and great dining area. Only slight downside is if you had 6 adults in the cottage (which it is certainly big enough to hold) an extra bath/shower room would be helpful. Coombe Martin is a good base to explore North Devon or to go walking on Exmoor. The town has a couple of decent pubs Pack o’ Cards (good food and great garden) and The Castle (near cottage) was a good old fashioned boozer - but good atmosphere. May 2012.
  3. We enjoyed our stay, every thing you needed was on hand , we had some lovely days out - Clovelly is a must, we loved Lynton and Lynmouth. Excellent food at local pub George and dragon, also the chippy across the road from cottage were the best fish and chips we have tasted. Sept 2011.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay, brilliantly located, a mile to the sea! lovely fish and chips literally across the road (with fresh sea side fish!) beautiful church at the rear of the property that does ring, but fitting! Really enjoyed our holiday, with great things to do for all ages! July 2011.
  5. Fabulous cottage, with DVDs, games and beach mats included! The size and quality of the kitchen was particularly appreciated as we cooked lots of large meals in there. July 2011.
  6. The cottage is well located in the village. There is a Nisa supermarket just a few hundred yards down the road. There are excellent walks direct from the cottage. There are several reasonable eating places in the village. The cottage was well presented, well equipped and very clean. May 2011.

  15. The property was very well maintained and well lit. Our 2 month old son had a great time looking at the lights. The owner was so very helpful, when we ran out of gas in the boiler, he immediately did all the running around and replaced it even on a Sunday evening and offered to give additional heaters too.
