This well-equipped flat has spectacular views looking out across the estuary to Braunton Burrows. Situated in the popular fishing village of Appledore where it is just by the National Coastal path leading to the Northam Burrows and the beach at Westward Ho! which is popular with surfers and kiteboarders. Appledore has a lively pub scene with good food and live music on many nights. With many local attractions like Clovelly, this apartment provides the ideal base for exploring, relaxing and watching the boats come and go. The ferry to Lundy Island passes regularly and trips can be booked from Bideford Quay. Water sports, golf, horse riding and fishing are all within 5 miles. Shops 600 yards, pub and restaurant 400 yards.

  1. The property didn’t look much from the outside, but inside it was lovely. The views were superb, and the binoculars provided were well used to look at the boats and wildlife. The apartment was well equipped, and beds and seating was very comfortable. Appledore itself is charming, but be aware it is at the bottom of an incline, so if you visit the pubs you do have a bit of a climb back to the property!! On the whole a lovely area and property - well worth a visit. June 2012.
  2. Don’t be put off by the outside of the property. Inside it is really well equipped and the view of the estuary from the lounge and bedroom windows is magnificent. Good walks from Appledore and nearby. Plenty places to visit and good bus service. Parking right outside the property. April 2012.

  4. Ignore the outside on arrival the flat is so well equipped and the views from the lounge room are excellent. The flat was a credit to the owners. It was clean & well equipped with everything you will need. We were well satisfied with the flat. No hesitation in recommending this to anyone who wanted a quiet holiday, Appledore is such a lovely quiet place. Feb 2012.
  5. Although the exterior of this property may seem unattractive, inside is comfortable, well equipped and with stunning views over the estuary. The Quay restaurant on the harbour front provides excellent meals, and if you enjoy walking you have Northam Burrows on your doorstep or superb clifftop walks around Hartland. For keen birders, this is a great location. Oct 2011.
