Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. A very well equipped cottage set in a lovely location-very relaxing place to stay. Sept 2012.
  2. Wonderful location and such a quirky place to stay - literally on top of the river! Would thoroughly recommend this property. June 2012.
  3. The property has great character and a stunning location in a very attractive and friendly village. Suffice it to say that this was our eighth visit to this property and we have already booked it for next year. July 2011.
  4. It was over and above my expectations. The location was ’picture postcard’ perfect just 5 minites from Fairford village centre. There was 7 of us and we had some wonderful times at the Mill including a ’Lamb Roast’ family dinner. A very memorable experience. July 2011.
  5. FANTASTIC LOCATION. House great, lots of stairs so not useful if difficulty with stairs. Walking distance to village. Everything we needed was provided. May 2011.
  6. Wonderful location. Splendid views from every window. May 2011.
  7. Beautiful setting with plenty of wonderful walks from the doorstep. Very atmospheric with the river running under the house. April 2011.
  8. Location, location, location! Superb position in the middle of the Mill stream a very short walk from the main village. Parking is a little tight but we got 3 cars on the drive and there is space in the village. A road runs right outside so those with Children would have to careful of this and all the water. The Mill House itself is a solid old building but kept warm with storage heating. In some bedrooms you can hear the rush of water beneath the house which take a little getting used to but become soothing. Overall accomodation is excellent, our only issue was that the kitchen is a very small galley with limited workspace and only fits one-person cooking at a time. We will be coming back here next year. Selsdon Scribes writers group. March 2011.
  9. Full of character. Jan 2011.
  10. A beautiful, expansive house, perfect for groups of friends. Nicely decorated, excellent amenities with an open fire in the large living room, a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. The location, right on the river, is picture postcard, and fairford village is lovely too, with a couple of nice restaurants. Jan 2010.

  12. Property has wonderful character in picturesque surroundings. Aug 2010.
  13. The locality of the property and the closeness to the local amenities, the picturesque setting and quaintness of the building were far beyond our expectations. April 2010.
