  1. Wonderful quiet spot over looking river, for March weather was dry overcast but great for walking. Owners were very helpful and very informative on local walks - do take walk along river to Stamford Bridge - once on Main road turn right, walk to end of village will come to footpath sign this takes you all the way to Pub at Stamford Bridge. Also must go to Peacock excellent food especially Sunday lunch - but you must book. Over all just what you need to get away from the rat race. March 2012.
  2. Exceptionally quiet and comfortable (we heard one car pass by in the week we were there). We were able to spot and photograph many birds in the garden while standing at the living room windows. We watched the bats over the stream in the evening. The entire area is abundant with walks, gardens, manor houses, and many other attractions that we found most wonderful and never crowded. It was genuinely relaxing. June 2011.

Great base for the Severn Valley Railway which was the main purpose of our visit. Kitchen sufficiently stocked with equipment to enable home cooking without a problem, with an electric cooker that was more than up to the job! (Funnily, though, no wooden spoons!). Good selection of DVDs! April 2009.
