  1. Excellent cottage and hosts. Home from home. Suitable for relaxing break at the cottage, or well located for visiting the many places of interest within 30-40 mins drive. Plenty of NT and English Heritage places to visit, all within easy reach. June 2012.
  2. Centrally located in Cornwall. Very warm welcome, nice and quiet location, everything there you need. July 2012.
  3. We have stayed at Little Barkhouse on about 7 or 8 occasions now. It’s a bit of a home from home for us. We love it. May 2011.
  4. A very well stocked cottage. Very peaceful surroundings. Sept 2010.
  5. Throughout the property care had been taken to ensure everything was provided, have never stayed in such a well equipped and very clean property. Sept 2010.
  6. The cottage had everything we needed for our weeks stay. This is a great place to stay with young children. My boys loved helping with the owners 15 call ducklings. Aug 2010.
  7. Ideal location and perfect for two people. Aug 2010.
  8. This property is set in it’s own lovely garden. There is absolutely no traffic noise, the air is just full of birdsong. May 2010.
  9. The quality of the furnishings and equipment was excellent and the owners were friendle and very helpfull. The gardens were both extensive and pleasent and we were free to roam them. May 2010.

  12. Everything you need in the kitchen for your stay. Beautiful gardens which we were free to use. The accommodation was spacious for two people and the digital tv was a bonus. The gardens were lovely and we walked and sat in them in the evenings. Callington has several pubs that do meals and there were several shops in town for self-catering. All-in-all a very nice place to start from for a holiday. June 2009.
  13. Very attractive grounds and very helpful onsite owners. July 2007.
  14. The property was excellent - beyond our expectations. Everything was so clean and well cared for. The gardens were beautiful. We received a very warm welcome from the owners who were lovely, friendly and helpful. The property is also very central and there are many things round about to visit or do for people of all ages. May 2007.
  15. For a family of three this was an excellent property. Clean with a home from home feel. It is quiet and away from the throng but not too far to reach a lot of tourist venues and good coastal attractions. My missis is a stickler for cleanliness- no Mr muscle required here! If you like piece and quiet and touring about you couldn’t ask for a better location. Aug 2007.
  16. We have been stayed with the owners before at their other cottage and the welcome, facilities and accommodation are excellent. As a parent you don’t want to be taking half your house on holiday and i know everything we could need is already there. So good we have booked for 2008 already. Aug 2007.
  17. The Bark House is a perfect retreat to get away from it all. March 2006.
