Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. We had a wonderful weekend at the Knowle all thanks to the owner and her group of cleaners who had the unfortunate job of clearing up after her previous cients had ’wrecked the place’. There was no sign of any disruption despite her concern and we would strongly recommend The Knowle to anyone who would treat it with the respect it deserves. It truly is an amazing house renovated to the highest standards. We would love to return next year. Oct 2012.
  2. This property was ideal for our golden wedding party of 17 with excellent facilities and would recommend it to anyone seeking a large house for a special occasion. Thanks to Helen for the added touches. A welcome tray of sweets and an orchid for my wife. July 2012.
  3. The cottage is secluded and spacious, 16 of us stayed for a week and we had loads of room. The snooker table was a god send as the weather wasn’t good. The swan pub which is only about 100yards away served excellent food at very reasonable prices, because there was 16 of us we arranged a time and chose our main meal from the menu before we went, they even moved tables to get us all sitting together. The cottage is in a beautiful settings and very private with excellent views. The owners could not do enough for us and are very helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated and are massive with lots of nice little touches. We managed to go into Brignorth and went to see the iron bridge there are loads of things to do in the area but unfortunately we did not get the weather. We were there for the queen’s jubilee luckily the weather was nice that day and we had a great party and barbeque out side. I would highly recommend this property it is fantastic for large family get togethers. Thanks again to Helen and Paul who will cater to your every needs, just ask them they will go out of there way to help you. June 2012.
  4. Amazing cottage, beautiful countryside, wonderful owners (we had a problem and they came round immediately). May 2012.
  5. We found The Knowle very comfortable and spacious, and the owners very helpful when we had an initial problem with broadband access. I would strongly recommend this cottage (but don’t rely on a postcode if you are finding your way there by SatNav!). April 2012.
  6. Brilliant venue for my 70th b’day with 10 other family members ranging from 2 years old up to my age. Central for family from Camberley and us from Lancashire. I have to agree with all comments made in earlier reviews. But 1 disappointment - local pub had strange opening hours, check in good time if expecting to eat there. But that has nothing to do with cottage4you or owners of property. Feb 2012.
  7. Brilliant on all counts. Completely trimmed up for Christmas - much nicer than we’d have at home. Fantastic welcome from the owners . Really felt like they were welcoming us into their home. Very comfortable throughout. Lovely combination of luxury and comfort. Dec 2011.
  8. Ideal for large families or group of friends... roomy bedrooms... comfy beds... plenty of bathrooms and loos! Large gardens for play... barbecue/patio... easy parking. Well equipped kitchen... lovely dinning room... spacious lounge... cloakroom... utility... lots of space! Warm welcome from the owners and little treats... a large tin of Quality Street to share and fresh flowers in the hall and lounge. Dec 2011.
  9. The property was fabulous for a large family party to celebrate a big ’70’ birthday. We were given a lovely welcome by the owners who were anxious to make everything very relaxed for us. They answered all our questions before hand and we were delighted to see how well equipped the house was - masses of glasses etc! Oct 2011.
