Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The property has a real ambience and plenty of space for two people. It does not have a shower or a washing machine which would have made our stay a little more comfortable. The fridge is small and the freezer was frosted up and unusable. Otherwise it had everything we needed. Plenty of parking space. A short drive into town. Pleasant garden sitting area. July 2012.
  2. Unique & lovely lodge. Excellent host. Well worth a visit. Oct 2011.
  3. I should not do it - I should not tell everybody what a marvellous accommodation the hunting lodge is. It should be my secret. But we where so overwhelmed, so happy in this sanctuary, I have to tell you. It was such a warm welcome by the owner. We had a great holiday in the midst of paradise. June 2011.
  4. Wonderfully cosy and so many little touches and trinkets to look at. The owners were incredibly friendly and even invited us to look around their spectacular garden! Oct 2010.
  5. Friendly and private. Oct 2010.
  6. Lovely garden, comfortable and well presented house. July 2010.
  7. Lovely cottage, had a wondefull time in a wonderful environment. June 2010.
  8. Lovely situation, plenty of space, private sunny garden. May 2010.
  9. Perfectly furnished and decorated. Very quiet surrounding. Beautiful garden. May 2010.
  10. The quirkiness of the furnishings and decor, it’s peace and remoteness. April 2010.
  11. Lovely setting in the Cotswolds, peaceful. April 2010.
  12. Great attention to detail in the design and cleanliness of the cottage. The caretaker was a dapper chap. Oct 2009.
  13. The property was really quirky and individual, with lots of nice touches that made it feel very cared-for. It had every amenity we could need, and it was beautifully kept. the owners were lovely - knowledgeable and helpful but not intrusive, and we felt in our own little world at the cottage. The only slight downside was the twin beds instead of a double - looking at the visitors book most people who stay there are couples, so would make more sense to have a double bed! Sept 2009.
  14. The accommodation was decorated very tastefully with a lot of thought having gone in to it. I lost count of the number of times we thought "I don’t suppose they have this or that" and sure enough they also had what we needed. I would go as far as to describe the property as perfect and without fault. May 2009.
  15. Weather was poor because there was lots of snow but in fact that added to the holiday . The owners had the driveway cleared so we could get there and it was warm and cosy in the cottage and picturesque outside so the snow just stopped us getting out and about but the holiday was still lovely. Feb 2009.
  16. A lovely cottage. We had our bicycles with us and it was a lovely ride into Bourton on the Water. Also a beautiful area the walk. May 2009.
  17. The cottage was fabulous the owners helpful. The cottage was great. May 2009.
  18. The seclusion and total quietness of the accommodation location made it an extremely relaxing holiday for my husband and myself. The peace was wonderful, made more perfect because the weather was kind to us during the whole of the week. Although secluded, the location was very close to Bourton, which was fantastic. April 2009.
  19. A really unique cottage made for a very unique experience. We were blessed with incredible weather so the tennis court and pool were amazing to have. Very beautiful setting with very welcoming hosts who let us get us on with our own thing. July 2008.
  20. It’s a highly individual and characterful little cottage in a beautiful location. Oct 2008.
