Nestled away in the quiet hamlet of Sawbridge, this semi-detached holiday property, adjacent to the owner’s home, is the perfect location for guests wishing to relax and enjoy some real peace and quiet. Situated in the Warwickshire countryside, yet close to the borders of Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire, there is plenty of opportunity to explore the real Heart of England. Perfect for walkers and animal lovers. The Hovel is located on a non-working farm with horses and sheep, and guests are welcome to walk and picnic on the owner’s land. There are many footpaths and bridleways that lead through the village and continue through some of the most picturesque Warwickshire countryside. Also perfect for guests wishing to enjoy a peaceful romantic break and leave their car behind, there is a local pub that serves food only a mile away in the village of Grandborough. The larger villages of Dunchurch and Braunston are a short drive away and offer shops and more places to eat. For guests who do wish to travel and enjoy a day out exploring the local area, there is plenty to see and do. All within an easy drive, guests will be able to visit the cathedral city of Coventry or Warwick and Oxford, as well as historical Rugby. Leamington Spa, with its chic bistros, wine bars and boutiques, or also the historic market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, which is steeped in history and has the famous association with William Shakespeare. Draycote Sailing Club is 5 minutes away. Milton Keynes with its snow dome and ski centre is just a short journey down the M1. There are also many picturesque Cotswold towns which make for a super day out and include Broadway, Moreton-in-Marsh, Shipston-on-Stour, Chipping Campden and Chipping Norton, which can be reached within a 1 hour drive. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
