1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

Situated in a peaceful countryside location with sea views, this character cottage, adjoining the owner’s home, features beams and flagstone floors. Luccombe Farm is 2 miles from Shanklin and Ventnor, popular holiday destinations in the south of the island, and have clean, sand and shingle beaches. There are scenic walks, cycle routes and amusements for all ages, including a dinosaur museum, a zoo, the Needles, Ventnor Botanical Gardens and a pearl factory. Shops and pubs 2 miles.

Ground floor: Living/dining room with beams, flagstone floor/step to kitchen. Steep stairs to first floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Satellite TV (with sports channels). Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Fridge/freezer.
Wi-fi. Large garden. Garage (1 car). Parking (1 car). Hot tub. Pets free of charge. No smoking. No children under 5 years, except babies under 6 months, due to pond in garden.

  1. A lovely peaceful location far from the madding crowd! The host & hostess Mr & Mrs Kennerly were so welcoming - very kind couple indeed. Obviously sunshine helps to keep everyone warmer including the cottage which on our one and only wet morning did seem cooler. We did enjoy the garden too which we had access to. I recommend this property for those who do not want to be in the noisier location of a town. July 2011.

  4. ’The Hideaway’ was even nicer than we expected! it is in a really tranquil setting & although it is rural, it’s just a pleasant walk along the coastal path or only a few minutes drive to Shanklin. It’s a well equipped & comfortable cottage and one we’d highly recommend and would definitely be happy to return to. They also have the most delightful playful little dog too that our girls fell in love with. May 2011.
