Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Perfect location, lovely house, just right for what we require for a week in the Lakes. oCT 2012.
  2. This was lovely and close to the town, but up an exceptionally steep hill - having a toddler and buggy, and being pregnant made this a bit of a nightmare. Would not have booked if realised! July 2012.
  3. Excellent location, cottage had excellent amenities, excellent value for money. March 2012.
  4. Not our first time here so we know what to expect. Just perfect for what we want. Looking forward to our week in October. Feb 2012.
  5. I have been staying in Bowness for many years, but this was the first time at the Heights. The property was extremely clean, well equipped and very comfy. It was nice to be welcomed by a warm cottage when we arrived later on at night and had a lovely, cosy night in, watching the DVDs in front of the fire. Would highly recommend this cottage and will definitely be booking it again. Dec 2011.
  6. Everything we wanted from accomodation in The Lakes. Oct 2011.
  7. Walking to and from Bowness certainly kept us fit as it was situated up a steep incline but only took a a few minutes. The cottage was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. June 2011.
  8. Brilliant location and a fantastic cosy cottage. Very squeeky doors upstairs though and the double bed squeek at evey move! May 2011.
  9. Ideal location for access to walks - just at the end of the Dales Way. Very comfortable and well-equipped cottage. Close to centre of Bowness, but as well to note that the walk up the hill is very steep and literally not for the faint-hearted! Bowness itself very well-provided with eating and drinking places and an ideal base for south lakeland. Price and amount of space compare well with other places we have stayed. Definitely intend to come back. May 2011.
  10. The property was clean and comfortable. The location was ideal with access to adjoining fells and countryside, ideal for dog owners. Nov 2010.
  11. Comfortable, nice location, well equipped. Oct 2010.

  15. Nice location near Bowness, lovely garden. June 2010.
  16. it is in a very quiet location as you walk up to road (2 minutes) turn left you have the dales way, turn right 5 minutes down hill your in the middle of town so excellent all round. June 2010.
  17. Lovely cottage in Bowness, located at the top of a steep road with walks starting from right outside. There is a lack of street lighting outside and its a bit limited on the street down to Bowness so bring a torch. Feb 2010.
  18. It was lovely and cosy, clean and just what we needed the weekend of the floods!!! Nov 2009.
