Property Description

Set in its own pretty garden grounds which surround the property and situated above the picturesque harbour of Portree, this delightful single storey traditional cottage enjoys superb views of the dramatic Cuillin Mountain ranges.  The Haven has been beautifully renovated by its caring owners and is meticulously presented to provide a lovely, cosy cottage close to the centre of Portree, the ’capital’ town of the enchanting and enigmatic Isle of Skye. Take a stroll down to the market square and explore the interesting and unusual selection of small shops, superb restaurants, cafes and pubs.  The picture postcard harbour, with its brightly-coloured fisherman’s cottages and little boats anchored in the bay is an absolute delight.  Watch the fishermen unloading their latest catch and sample some of the finest and freshest seafood to be found anywhere in the world.  Local facilities also include a cinema, swimming pool and small theatre. 

Ground Floor: The accommodation is all at ground floor level, has electric central heating and comprises:
Entrance Porch.
Lounge/diner: A bright, spacious room with open fire, TV, DVD and radio/CD.
Kitchen: Featuring stunning views of Cuillin mountain ranges across the garden, with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
Bedroom 1: With double bed.
Bedroom 2: With two single beds.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, WC and wash basin.

All electricity and gas provided. Initial supply of logs & peat for open fire provided.  All bed linen and towels provided. Travel cot and highchair available.Outside: Enclosed garden. Off road parking for 1 car.

This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
