Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Absolutely loved this cottage! Its very well kept and has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The owners are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. The local pub The Faulkland Inn is 5 mins walk and serves a fantastic menu. The only thing to bear in mind is that the cottage is very big and is heated by storage heaters, so costs a lot to keep warm. So do be aware that there is an electricity bill to pay at the end of the stay. Overall would recommend to everyone and will definitely be returning! Dec 2011.
  2. We stayed in a wonderful, homelike house. There was a very friendly welcome with flowers in the sitting room and a bottle of wine t welcome us. Every thing was well taken care of. Oct 2011.
  3. Plenty of space and plenty of comfortable seating. Feb 2011.
  4. The accommodation had great space and had a lovely cosy feel to it which we all loved. Nov 2010.
  5. This property was even better than the photographs, very comfortable and fully equipped with everything you could need during your stay. Oct 2010.
  6. A beautiful and extremely interesting property. Restoration of the Elizabethan house had been inspiringly executed and it was fascinating to hear about the project from the owners. The house was very comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom arrangements were ideal. We did not make use of the third, smaller bedroom, and felt that it would more properly accommodate children. Because it was relatively late in the year we did not make use f the excellent outdoor provision. In the summer, that would also be superb. Sep 2010.
  7. We have rented many holiday properties over the years and this one was by far the best. Extremely comfortable and well equipped. The owners had thought of everything. Aug 2010.
  8. The owners were friendly and the welcome warm. A couple of problems were dealt with quickly and cheerfully. Aug 2010.
  9. Beautiful accommodation. Well equipped and clean. Great, relaxing place to return to when busy exploring. July 2010.
  10. A lovely period property situated in a quiet rural location. May 2010.
  11. The house had lovingly been restored to a traditional look and was warm and welcoming. It was spacious, well maintained and full of all the facilities one would expect - and some extra like the free wifi (nice touch!). Extra things like the provision of stair-gates for the young children was a very nice and practical touch which helped us to relax more. May 2010.
  12. Fascinating architecturally. Dec 2009.
  13. Exactly the kind of cottage we were looking for for Christmas. Dec 2009.
  14. The character of the cottage was great, lots of quirky nooks and crannies. Very comfortable. Nov 2009.
  15. Lovely area. House was so nice that it didn’t matter that we had 2 days rain-we just stayed in and played games. Very spacious. Great with four boys. Aug 2009.
  16. We are a military family, home on leave and the owners could not have been more helpful and welcoming. They were excellent hosts and living in Green Farm was very easy. We have had several holidays using your company, especially since we have been abroad and we constantly recomend the website as it is so easy to look for, book and pay for your holiday - not an easy process when you can only use BFPO addresses. The owners also very kindly sent a scarf back to us that was left behind with a kind note. Feb 2009.
  17. The Green Farm exceeded our expectations. The rooms were larger than they appear in the photos on the website, and the decor was charming. Our son was happy to have lots of channels on the television, and to have a wireless connection. Our hosts were so friendly, and invited us to the annual village luncheon where we visited with their friends and had a wonderful time. We would definitely book The Green Farm again. Sept 2008.
  18. It was a super house and the owners could not have been kinder to us. March 2008.
  19. This property was even better than it looks on the brochure, and the welcome we had from the local people was exceptional we felt so at home. Nov 2008.
