This very attractive old stone granary was built in 1900 AD, and has been converted to a very good standard. Set on a farm, adjacent to the owner’s home, this semi-detached holiday property is located in the heart of the lakeland area of County Cavan, just 2km from the local village of Arvagh and 12km from Cavan’s town centre. There is a separate entrance to the property and ample parking. The area is very picturesque, it is close to Garty Lough and overlooked by Bruse Mountain which dates from the Neolithic era. For those interested in walking, the Cavan Way is 14 miles long and Killykeen Forest Park provides lake walks, cycle trails and picnic areas. Fishing, golf, horse riding and canoeing are available in the area and places of interest include Marble Arch Caves, Cavan Crystal and Dún na Rí Forest Park. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.25 miles.
