  1. A lovely rural location near some of the Cotswolds loveliest villages. Owners very helpful, us and the dogs were made to feel welcome, and lots of local pubs serving good local produce. Dec 2012.
  2. We loved the location and whole setting of the property. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners, who were always able to point us in the right direction or make a recommendation about local places to visit. The property itself is spacious and comfortable, although we did find quite a few areas that the cleaner had missed or skimped on. This did not detract from our enjoyment of the property, we just expected a higher standard for such a nice property. Our girls were made welcome at the stables, whilst the owners dogs welcomed us all. We also befriended the ducks, who were most entertaining to sit and watch. It is out of the way, it is a rural location with horses and sheep in close proximity, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would we go back, most definitely! July 2012.

  5. A most well equipped property, lacking for nothing other than a breadbin and more glasses. The owners were lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. In view of the poor weather, the endless supply of logs for the wood burning grate was much appreciated. A wonderful location with splendid walks on the 174 acres of land. Nov 2011.

Overall it was presented to a very high standard and we would have no reservation in recommending it to others It’s location was perfect for visiting a number of attractions such as Hidcote, Snowshill and Painswick Rococo Garden. Good walking was available from your doorstep as well as a great pub. The owner’s were very welcoming. March 2010.
