Property Description

Set within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, high on the Roseland Landscape, these two converted barns afford spacious ground floor holiday accommodation, with commanding views across the countryside. Situated just 6 miles from St Mawes, they are 1 mile from a golden sandy beach and a short drive from many other beautiful beaches. Although completely self-contained, they may be booked together. The renowned Philliegh Cookery School is close by and a great experience. This idyllic part of South Cornwall has much to offer visitors, including a picturesque coastal walk leading to St Anthony Head, with its superb views of Falmouth and the Black Rock. St Mawes itself abounds with restaurants, pubs and shops, and its clover-leaf shaped castle, built by Henry VIII, is well worth a visit. In summer there are boat trips up the river, passing through beautiful wooded creeks. Shops 6 miles, pub, the famous Roseland Inn, ½ mile.

Open-plan living room/kitchen with fully fitted units, breakfast bar, small table and chairs and pitched ceiling with exposed beams. Twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with separate shower cubicle and toilet. Rugs on slate floors throughout.

  1. The property has been designed with self catering (in the literal sense) in mind. The kitchen was equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, electric cooker/oven, dishwasher. Sept 2010.
  2. Very well located. Walking distance to pub with good choice of evening meals. Easy to reach Heligan and Trelissick gardens. Castles, walks & beaches short distance away. Good parking, good shower, roomy with full set of appliances, friendly and helpful owners. Aug 2010.

If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
