Property Description

This delightful ground floor holiday apartment in St Monans is 20 minutes drive from St Andrews and 100 yards from the picturesque harbour. The cosy living room has a woodburner and a glimpse of the sea, providing a stylish, comfortable retreat whatever the season. Good local hotel only moments away and a seafood restaurant 5 minutes walk. Activities for all interests locally: golf, 3 miles and St Andrews, sandy beaches, watersports, Art exhibitions, Sea Life Centre, historic houses and gardens. Walks to Elie and Pittenweem are part of the Fife Coastal Path. Shops 20 yards, pub 150 yards.

All on ground floor: Living room. Dining room/kitchen. Second living room with double futon (for alternative sleeping). 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and toilet.

Multi-fuel burner in living room (initial fuel included). Gas central heating included (£25per week October-April). electricity, bed linen and towels included. Freeview TV. Video. DVD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. No smoking. Easy walking access.

  1. This was an extremely well maintained property. Spacious and had everything ready just to walk in, unpack and start to enjoy the lovely area. The only draw back was the lack of places to eat in the village, although there was a Chinese/Indian takeaway on the main road at the top of the village which was excellent value. Having a small dog with us, this meant buying food and cooking which was not in our plans. Sept 2011.

  14. Five Star accommodation, clean, bright, modern. Facilities excellent, everything provided from loo rolls to books & DVD’s, hairdryers to spare rucksack & torch! Ideal for dogs as floors all laminate or tiled. No garden but harbour a minute away and lots of doggy bins in the village too! Couldn’t have asked for more in holiday accommodation, would definitely go back again. This has to be one of the best holiday cottages we have ever stayed in. Highly recommended. Dec 2009.

  17. The property was modern, spacious, clean and the decor was pleasant with the owners pictures on view. We liked the fact that there were board games to use and books to read. The kitchen was well laid out with coffee and tea for us to use. The apartment was quiet so no disturbances at all. The location was good as it was near the harbour and there were walks along the coast. We had a good time. Sept 2009
