These semi-detached farmhouses (refs W42980 & W42979) have been carefully co-ordinated throughout and are set within the grounds of the Caravan Club site in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. As such, they enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding open countryside. Walk direct from the door over the nearby moors or take a 5-minute stroll into the nearby traditional market town of Hawes. Here you will find a good mix of shops with something for everyone including antiques, traditional country clothing, fashion and gift shops interspersed with tea shops, restaurants and pubs. Alternatively visit the Wensleydale Creamery, famous for its cheese endorsed by Wallace and Gromit or visit the Dales Centre Museum. Nearby Semerwater, a large, natural lake provides a wealth of activities such as swimming, fishing and sailing. These properties can be booked together to sleep 15+1. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.5 miles.

This property is close to the 2014 Tour de France route, come and experience the spectacular scenery for yourself and follow in the trail of some true cycling legends.

  1. Had a great family holiday at Farmhouse. Cottage had all we needed, was spacious, comfortable and close to town centre. The games room was a bonus for the younger members of our party. There were some lovely short walks in the area and good pubs with great food in town. Sept 2012.
  2. The Farmhouse is a spacious, comfortable commercial holiday home. It lacks personality but was perfect as a base for the beautiful Dales. Situated near to a great underused games room it is a pleasant level 10 minute walk from town. Very quiet at night and within easy driving reach of many attractions including Ingleton Trail, Hardraw Force (wonderful pub), and stunning scenery. July 2012.
  3. Excellent farmhouse that had everything required and more, 5 minutes walk to village and although on caravan site was very quite and peaceful. Wonderful views all in all whole family and dog had a relaxing and stress free week, staff very friendly. June 2012.

  13. The Farmhouse was warm, spacious and comfortable and, although we had stayed there over a year ago, there was no sign of wear and tear of the carpets, furniture etc. Sept 2009.

  15. The Farmhouse was perfect for our needs. We were a party of 7 adults (19-60 yrs!) plus 2 dogs. There is plenty to see and do within walking distance (in Hawes, Gayle, Hardraw) with all the wonderful walking and climbing the Dales have to offer straight from the door or a short drive away. The caravan site’s shop could not have been more convenient for our milk and eggs, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We made good use of the games room for evening games of table tennis and pool - we didn’t see anyone else using this excellent facility! The dog-walk along two sides of the site’s grounds was useful for early morning/last of the day leg stretches and sniffs for our canine friends. We used Tuesday market stalls and Hawes shops for our fresh produce. Spacious living area open so the whole family could be comfortable AND together. Enclosed garden ideal for dogs. Two porches/lobbies ideal for wet coats, boots. Well-appointed - all mod-cons (better than at home!!). July 2009.

  20. We booked two cottages next door to each other to sleep 16 for long weekend - as a surprise for mums 65th birthday. All of the party thoroughly enjoyed stay, both cottages fantastic, spacious, warm with all facilities. Would highly recommend it, mum is thinking of booking in the summer. Nov 2007.
