This grand 19th century sea captain’s house stands proud in a terrace of attractive holiday properties, and provides far reaching views across Falmouth harbour and out to sea. Within the house are three beautiful apartments refurbished and equipped to a good standard.
This wonderful location provides easy access to a selection of pubs, shops and restaurants that are just a short walk away. There are regular passenger ferry trips to Flushing and St Mawes from the Prince of Wales pier nearby, and in the summer season, down the Fal and Helford estuaries, an absolute must. Falmouth is renowned not only for its sailing and fine sandy beaches, but also for its National Maritime Museum.
There are wonderful coastal walks, castles and gardens all close by, not to mention the numerous golf courses and driving ranges within 2 miles. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Cot and high chair on request. Freeview TV. DVD. CD. Gas hob. Electric oven. Microwave. Washer/dryer. Dishwasher. Fridge/freezer. Parking by prior arrangement with owner 164 yards (£20per week). No smoking. Friday to Friday.

  1. The appartment is bright and airy with a spectacular view of the harbour. We very much appreciated the welcoming touches such as the bottle of milk in the fridge and the bottle of wine waiting in the lounge. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped and the shower was fabulous with plenty of hot water. We would definitely visit again. April 2012.
  2. Lovely tea tray awaited us with some much appreciated shortbread. The fresh flowers were a nice gesture too. Fantastic view and close to Falmouth town, which has everything you require. Sept 2011.
  3. Excellent apartment and really enjoyed my stay. I don’t feel the picture of the double bedroom does it any justice as the room was much better than I’d anticipated and we really loved it! The owner also gave us some milk, tea, coffee and yummy short bread. There was also a nice bottle of red wine for us too which was unexpected but a nice touch! Thanks for making our stay enjoyable. May 2011.
  4. Had a wonderful holiday - superb setting and well appointed property. I loved the extra touches, the milk in the fridge, tea and coffee and bottle of wine. Definitely enhanced our stay. Would love to return in the future The only possible downside to property is parking (although we had the secured parking) The noise when it was windy of the tiles on the roof/dormer. April 2011.

  6. Smart, modern, clean and lots of space. Two tellies was a nice touch as were the free bottle of wine, Cornish biscuits, coffee and including all the basics - toilet rolls, washing up liquid etc. Really made a difference. Also liked its great location. There are outstanding views from 3 different rooms. Liked how Falmouth shops were only walking distance away. Money permitting I intend to book it again this year and two friends are enthused with the info I sent them. Feb 2011.
  7. Fantastic view and walking distance into Falmouth. Well equipped kitchen for the size of property, including decent drinking glasses. Stairs pretty steep, typical Cornish older property, so need to be able bodied. Sept 2010.
