Riding, cycling and walks are in abundance locally, especially on the Staffordshire Way and Tissington Trail. The Potteries with Trentham Garden Estates, Churnet Valley and Dovedale are all within 12 miles. Market towns such as Ashbourne, Cheadle, Leek, Bakewell, Stone and Uttoxeter are all a short drive away. Two steam railways, historic places of interest such as Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House, many industrial museums and potteries are all within easy reach. Shop and pub 1 mile.
