Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. I commented that the cottage compares with 5* hotels and it does! Narrow lane leading up to it is the only challenge. July 2012.
  2. We really enjoyed our holiday. We were not expecting the lanes to be so narrow, but once we got used to it, it was ok. The owners were very friendly and left a lovely home made cake for us when we arrived. They had thought of everything we would need in the cottage, it was the best accommodation we have stayed in. The only reason we would not return is that we like to holiday in a different area each year. We could not fault this accommodation and thoroughly recommend it. June 2012.
  3. Very well appointed cottage. May 2012.
  4. Excellent cottage, beautiful location. Very welcoming and owners very helpful and friendly. Cottage had everything we needed. May 2012.
  5. Our second visit to The Cottage was as good as the first visit. Treborough is a very small village with just a few houses and a Church. For us this is the recipe for a excellent holiday. The owners, who live just across from The Cottage, make you feel very welcome. The tea and cakes awaiting our arrival was very welcome indeed. Easter is a busy time for a working sheep farm but the owners always made time to explain to our grandchildren (4yrs & 7yrs) exactly what was taking place and even allowed them to assist with some of the tasks. Having found this holiday location I can confirm that we will be using it again and again. April 2012.
  6. The cottage was exceptional. The detail in the refurbishment of this property is extremely good. We stayed as a family of 6 plus our dog and there was plenty of place and more. The owners were extremely nice people, very helpful but not in anyway intrusive. Overall everything we were looking for in a short break. p.s. would recommend the Valiant soldier inn for evening meals. April 2012.
  7. Peaceful setting, clean, fabulously appointed... wanted to move in and stay! Oct 2011.
  8. Lovely cosy cottage with lots of little personal touches. It was lovely to see the photographic record of it’s construction. July 2011.
  9. Enjoyed the sheep and scenery at cottage. The cottage was great. Plenty to see and do within a short drive. June 2011.
  10. This was a fabulous cottage and the furnishings were beautiful, as was the kitchen. the view was tremendous. No mobile phone signal though. May 2011.
  11. Enjoyed the sheep and scenery at cottage. The cottage was great. Plenty to see and do within a short drive. June 2011.
  12. The cottage was so well designed and perfect in everyway. The owners made you feel at home immediately on arrival and leaving a homemade cake was such a delightful touch. June 2011.
  13. Ideal cottage in beautiful surroundings. Owners were great - helpful, friendly, accommodating but unobtrusive. Good pub within short driving distance and other attractions in the neighbourhood. We will return. May 2011.
  14. Lovely, clean, spacious cottage. May 2011.
  15. The Cottage is probably the best accommodation we have ever stayed since using English Country Cottages. The owners were extremely friendly and our grandchildren enjoyed playing with their children. Although it is a working farm everything was controlled, however our youngsters were welcomed to see the lambs being born, helping to fed some of them, milk the cow and see the wonderful countryside. We truly had a wonderful time, and as we told them ’We will be back’. April 2011.
  16. It would be difficult to find a more quite and comfortable cottage. Just a "Little piece of Heaven". April 2011.
  17. Well furnished and towels provided. Tea and homemade brownies upon arrival! lovely treasure hunt. great property to stay in. Feb 2011.
  18. The accommodation was beautifully done. The log burning fire added to the holiday experience. The best cottage we have been to which would allow dogs to stay in, it was home from home. Feb 2011.
  19. Extremely well equipped and modern cottage with high quality fitments in beautiful surroundings. Very warm and comfortable and we could not think of anything it was lacking, and very friendly hosts. Nov 2010.
  20. The accommodation was finished to a very high standard, the owners had made an obviouse effort to maintain a feeling of quality with every aspect of the cottage. Sept 2010.
