Set in its own peaceful and sunny lawned garden and four acres of private, open ground and woodland, it benefits from a private tennis court on site. It is surrounded by more woodland at the end of a leafy lane. Outstanding walking and riding can be enjoyed in Dunwich Forest and on Dunwich Heath (NT). A walk along the Suffolk Coast Path, or a short drive, leads to Walberswick and Southwold. RSPB reserve at Minsmere 1½ miles. Shops 2 miles.

  1. With all its land, tennis court and access through woodland to the sea it is the location of this property that makes it so special. But this is not to discount the over all comfort. The owner kindly makes the full oil fired central heating available all year round and there is always piping hot water if you want it. So very good we have been back over and over again. Jan 2012.

Charming, characterful building, not only very comfortable and well-equipped but very tastefully furnished, wonderful setting among woodlands and huge pasture-like garden, fantastic for our dogs, great for wildlife (+ RSPB sanctuary nearby), magical crumbling coastline, nearest supermarket is a Waitrose (!), lovely walks straight from the property. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
