Property Description

In a quiet location, this detached holiday cottage is set in the owner’s grounds, just a short stroll from the beach and renowned Lord Street - a wide Victorian street with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. There really is something for everyone; golf at Royal Birkdale, bird watching along the coast, and the very rare red squirrels at Formby. Southport, which boasts a theatre, lovely parks and Splash World, plays host to a wide selection of events ranging from the National Fireworks Display, an air show together with jazz and food and drink festivals. Shop, pub and restaurant 300 yards.

Ground floor: Living room with wooden floor. Dining room. Kitchen with wooden floor. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite bathroom with shower attachment and toilet, 1 twin (accessed via double bedroom and bathroom).

  3. The cottage is in an excellent location to walk into Southport - just 5 minutes from the centre of town. It is also well situated for visits to Liverpool and Blackpool by car. The cottage was lovely and clean. Aug 2011.

  5. Excellent cottage and location for pier, activities, shops, restaurants (especially Kasturi Indian Restaurant)and Southport railway station. Friendly welcome with outstanding welcome pack. Airshow was spectacular, a visit to Blackpool for Pleasure Beach was so much fun. Visited Liverpool by train for World Museum and Spaceport. Formby beach, well worth a visit. A great family holiday had by all of us and the weather was perfect too. July 2011.

  18. The cottage was very clean and well appointed. The property was very convenient for all Southport has to offer, being only a 5 minute walk to Lord Street. It is in a quiet location in the rear garden of the main house. The owner Lindsey is very personable and does everything in her power to make your stay an enjoyable one. May 2010.
