Property Description

At the heart of a pretty village, The Cottage nestles against the Pump House, which dates back over 200 years. Within a 100 yard walk is the shop, pub and church, and facilities for golf are 1/2 mile away. Comfortable and well equipped, it is set close to many attractions. Historic country houses and gardens abound, and within driving distance are several National Trust properties. Ideal holiday base for touring coast and country, there will never be a dull moment!

Ground floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. 1 double bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet. Stone stairs to first floor: 1 twin bedroom. Bathroom with toilet.

Open fire in living room included. NSH, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Freeview TV. DVD. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Shared washing machine and tumble dryer. Wi-fi. Shared secluded rear garden and furniture. Private patio. Gas barbecue. Ample parking. NB: There are 7 steps to the garden.

  10. We were made very welcome, the owner was available if we needed anything but our privacy was respected. The cottage was extremely clean and well presented. Although in the middle of a sleepy village, the cottage was within easy reach of a main road, making travelling about the area quite easy. Beware the lack of road signs, though! April 2009.

  13. The proprietors were very helpful. The location was excellent i.e. within easy access to local amenities, pub within staggering distance. However, the Lime kiln pub was a little further, about 1/2 mile, and the food and hospitality was exceptional, Highly recommended! Aug 2008.
