Very good kitchen facilities, cosy armchairs and fire. Nice clean comfy bedrooms. Good weather on whole (end August).15 mins to Cockermouth and Wordsworth’s birthplace(NT) and 20 - 30 mins to Loweswater and Buttermere for stunning walks.
