Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The Coach house is in an idyllic setting, its a beautiful house with all that you need for a very relaxing holiday. We went with our 5 year old daughter and there was plenty of local fun things to do to keep her happy. Despite the rain we had a lovely time, would recommend the coach house to any one who likes walking and cycling. Very friendly owners also provide lots of information on where to go to eat, walk and days out. A Great Place! June 2012.
  2. Lovely get away from it all cottage, warm welcome, nice walks from doorstep. April 2012.
  3. The owners of this property were very welcoming, leaving a bottle of wine, milk, home made local cake and fresh flowers as we arrived. They also left a comprehensive set of guides to activities, walks and attractions for us to peruse. The village pub, easily within walking distance, did very good food, with generous portions. March 2012.
  4. A lovely house in a lovely location. We were made to feel very welcome. Feb 2012.
  5. The owners made us feel very welcome. They had left a bottle of wine, a slab of fruit cake, teabags, sugar and pats of butter. They seem to have thought of everything that you would want on a self catering holiday, even hot water bottles, and an umbrella by the front door. Overall a very good short break. Oct 2011.
  6. A quiet cottage at the very end of the village with outstanding views over the countryside. It was very comfortable and well equipped and we couldn’t fault it. Sept 2011.
  7. Quiet, well appointed and comfortable. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. Great location for the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. July 2011.
  8. Excellent facilities and accommodation. Somewhat remote location. June 2011.
  9. Fabulous cottage with all of the amenities required, we had perfect weather and maybe a sun lounger would have been a nice addition to the garden furniture provided. The location was peaceful and very pretty, there are plenty of good walks from the cottage and close by by car. Goodrich Castle is worth a visit and the Sculpture Trail is also a nice easy walk. April 2011.
  10. The accommodation was excellent - the location was good for local walks and situated in a beautiful village with pubs close by. The attention to detail in the accommodation was excellent - welcome wine and bread was a lovely welcoming touch. The cottage was very comfortable especially the under floor heating and wood burner. A good size for what we were after and also had a lovely little garden. Nov 2010.
  11. The cottage was beautifully presented. The owner was very helpful and approachable. The addition of a stair gate was inspired - if only to stop our dog going upstairs! Oct 2010.
  12. Beautiful situation, conversion to a high standard, everything working. Sept 2010.
  13. Quiet, well laid-out, clean, welcoming and very suitable for our dog in view of access to field at rear plus good pub in village which accepts dogs as well. Sept 2010.
  14. A fantastic place to spend a relaxing few days. Aug 2010.
  15. Everything one would need was provided in the house. Very warm welcome of the owners, they are really nice and provided a lot of information on what to do. The property was even nicer than we expected. June 2010.
  16. Immaculately clean, well equipped and fitted to a high standard, very helpful owner, lovely location. May 2010.
  17. Very well equipped and everything in good order. The ’welcome pack of supplies’ was a nice touch. March 2010.
  18. The property was excellent, in a very attractive village with splendid views and local walks. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the gifts of local produce was a very kind touch. There was a good local pub and I would not hesitate to recommend this this well presented property in a beautiful area. Oct 2009.
  19. The Coach House ha sbeen recently converted to a holiday cottage of outstanding comfort and quality. The Owners are very welcoming and friendly. The best place we have stayed yet by far. July 2009.
