Property Description

Located within walking distance of historic Bury St Edmunds (1 mile), The Coach House is a welcoming holiday retreat and lies adjacent to the owner’s home. Bury St Edmunds with its cathedral and abbey ruins offers outstanding examples of Georgian architecture. There is an excellent range of interesting shops, restaurants and pubs including the Nutshell, England’s smallest pub. NT properties can be found at nearby Ickworth Park and Anglesey Abbey and Gardens. Also worth visiting are the Newmarket races, the city of Cambridge and Ely. Shops and pub 1 mile.

  1. This is our third short break to this property and we hope to return again soon. It is a wonderful cottage so clean and comfortable with everything you need. The homemade treats are a really welcoming touch. We like being able to walk into the town centre and visit the nearby park. Ickworth house and extensive grounds are just a very short drive away.   12. In 33 years of renting holiday properties, this has to be the best appointed one we have had. The owner was welcoming, to the extent of leaving us some home-made scones and bread. The whole place was immaculate and we would heartily recommend it to anyone. June 2011.
  13. This cottage was absolutely superb, beautifully clean and a lovely welcome tray of home made bread, scones, jam and marmalade. There was milk and apple juice in the fridge. It cannot be seen from the road so a little difficult to find first time. March 2011.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
