Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The property was well furnished with many antiques and the new boiler system was effective. The double bed was of very good standard and very comfortable. The bathroom was a challenge with the shower over the bath! Oct 2011.
  2. The kitchen was a little tight for space, but we found everything we wanted - take your own washing up liquid etc though. Very comfortable and quiet accommodation, lots of space and welcoming and helpful hosts - thanks! Sept 2011.
  3. The property is one of the largest we have stayed in albeit it was capable of accommodating 3 people. It was tastefully furnished and well equipped for in-house entertainment with access and egress for parking on site easy. There was just a number of small things, that others had mentioned in the visitors book, which would have made things easier especially on arrival but they paled into insignificance in regard to the cottage overall. June 2011.
  4. We liked the antique style furniture and overall presentation. Feb 2011.
  5. Clean and well decorated. Oct 2010.
  6. Original exterior - modern contemporary interior. Excellent location to amenities. Best bed ever! Sept 2010.
  7. Very well decorated and a delightful setting for a quiet week in the country. Sept 2010.
  8. Lovingly decorated, very tastefully done. Sept 2010.
  9. Very roomy and very comfortable. Very peaceful area. Oct 2010.
  10. We really liked the location. The size of the cottage was excellent and there was plenty of off-road parking. July 2010.

  13. Liked the antique furnitue, the fittings were first class. March 2010.
  14. Excellent finishes to a nicely situated property - bags of room and character. March 2010.
  15. Distinctive with excellent space, facilities and well presented by owner. Quiet and relaxing. March 2010.
  16. Beautifully decorated and cleverly designed with authentic country/antique furnishings to give a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The galley kitchen housed all necessary equipment The owners were on hand and offered to fulfill any shortfall (we found none as virtually everything we required was at hand). The owners even supplied logs for an open fire if needed. Two of the TV’s had freeview while the third was linked to the DVD player. Dec 2009.
  17. The property was attractive and well stocked. Welcomingly set out with decorated Christmas Tree and fruit in the bowl plus some supplies in the fridge. Dec 2009.
  18. Very nice and to high standard. Nov 2009.
