1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

In one of the most sought-after locations in Bembridge, and only 110 yards from the beach, The Chicken Shed is situated in an AONB. Located adjacent to the owners’ home, this detached bungalow offers welcoming accommodation complete with an enclosed private patio. A coastal retreat and a great base for walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding or birdwatching. Bembridge is a charming village with a sailing club, harbour and home to Bembridge Windmill (NT). Shop 1/2 mile, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

All on ground floor: Living room with patio doors/dining room/kitchen with wooden floor. 1 double bedroom (6ft zip and link, can be twin). Shower room with toilet.

Electric heaters included (£20per week, £15 per short break October-March). Electricity, bed linen and towels included. Freesat TV. DVD. CD and small library. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Dishwasher. Wi-fi. Enclosed garden with patio and sitting-out area. Parking (1 car). Welcome pack. No smoking. Friday to Friday. No children.

  3. The Chicken Shed lacked absolutely nothing. Everything was clean and tidy. Owners were available if you needed them but we were left to enjoy the accommodation with no interference. Great seafood pub was just a short walk away. Beach and great little cafe were also a short distance. All in all, a great place to stay. May 2012.

  18. We booked this property last minute (48 Hours notice) in mid march, and were extremely pleased with our choice. Everything about this property exudes quality, from the welcome pack consisiting of Milk, Butter, Bread, Eggs, Marmalade, and a victoria sponge cake even the WI couldnt fault, to the lovely 6 foot bed. There is good walikng around the area from the door, we walked the coast path to Sandown and back about 10 mile return, plus there was plenty of other places to go. We were celebrating our 25th Wedding anniversary and received a box of chocolates and a card from the owners which was very kind. All in all we couldnt find fault with the property really, not that we were looking for it, but the bottom line is really that if you leave the chicken shed with a complaint, you really dont have enough stress and worry in your life to start with! All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitiate to stay again. March 2011.
