Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. An extremely well kitted out and well appointed accommodation within easy driving distance of Bath and Bristol and even the Fleet Air Arm Museum. There are plenty of places to eat out around the property, 25 minutes was the longest we had to travel for an excellent meal. Sept 2012.
  2. The chapel is just lovely. It is fitted out to the highest standard and had everything a family needs. June 2012.
  3. We all enjoyed staying in this rather unusual property. Wonderful feeling of space and light. I found the wood burner so easy to light and loved the warmth and atmosphere it created! Feb 2012.
  4. A very beautiful and comfortable holiday home. The owners added some lovely touches such as milk, flowers and biscuits. Very clean and decorated to a high standard. Jan 2012.
  5. Comfortable and affordable and close enough to Bath for visiting. Overall very nice. Could do with some recycling boxes in the pantry for the rubbish and maybe copies of maps and routes for local walks. Nov 2011.
  6. Beautiful conversion of a methodist chapel. It is close to Bath and Bristol. There is sufficient car parking for 2 vehicles but if you have a large car it is difficult to turn round in. You need to be able to drive out facing forward because it is a narrow and curved drive. The hot water tank is not large so you have to boost the water frequently or keep water heater on. It was a wonderful place to stay and warm and relaxing weekend. Oct 2011.
  7. Even more beautiful than expected. Especially the lovely big dinner table which was such a surprise and such a fun to sit around with visitors - it was not even displayed on one of the photos! The cottage was a bit difficult to find in the rain and darkness - it is actually the first house around the corner with a wooden board at the gate displaying Methodist Church. The owner had made us aware of this - however because of the darkness we did not spot it straight away. The flowers, bottle of wine & milk in fridge, tea, coffee, sugar and chocolate biscuits were a very warm welcome gesture which gives you an instant smile on your face and a whispering of ’thank you so much’. Nov 2011.
  8. Lovely location, easy to find. Clean, large property with all mod cons. Comfortable beds, lots to do in and around the area, kids were never bored. Could benefit from having a tumble dryer, handy for families - you know how dirty kids get. Aug 2011.
  9. The Chapel is beautifully restored and furnished with taste and attention to detail. Feb 2011.
  10. The accommodation was superb throughout and well maintained. Dec 2010.
  11. Great ’wow’ factor. Brilliantly converted. No expense spared. Fully equipped, including dishwasher. Parking for 3 cars. Flowers on the table and tea and coffee provided in the kitchen for arrival. Nov 2010.
  12. Highly recommended property for location, internal fixtures and decoration. Ideal for sightseeing and dog walking. Oct 2010.
  13. The property was very unique and unusual. It was done to a high standard and was warm and comfortable. Lots to do in the area. Sept 2010.
  14. This is a very clever conversion making it a really interesting place to stay. April 2010.
  15. The property was very clean and comfortable, i loved the personal touches such as fresh flowers, milk tea coffee sugar and biscuits, lovely fresh bedding and towels. March 2010.
  16. The property was better than we hoped, owners where very helpful. It was very comfortable and well equipped, we would use again. Dec 2009.
  17. The Chapel was a warm and very comfortably furnished house to stay in. Everything about it was first class. The owner was very helpful and welcoming too. Sept 2009.
  18. Excellent conversion done to a high standard. Dec 2009.
