Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The Chapel is very welcoming and comfortable the log burner was a great feature and the overall layout suited our needs for a short break. Convenient for Ross on Wye and Monmouth and lots of other things to do in the area. Oct 2012.
  2. A lovely, clean and cosy cottage to stay in. Ideal for those looking for a quiet, rural location. Owners have put a lot of thought in to including the little extras like walk books and board games to make it an excellent holiday cottage. Oct 2012.
  3. Excellent, very well situated with lots of lovely little touches. June 2012.
  4. This property is a beautifully thoughtful Chapel conversion in a really "away from it all" location. If the weather is good then anyone could not fail to have a lovely holiday here. Even if the weather is bad the owners have thoughtfully provided all manner of pastimes with books, CDs, DVDs, games & puzzles alongside the normal TV. According to the guest book many visitors do return so they are obviously of the same thought as ourselves. June 2012.
  5. Everything was organised to ensure that we felt welcome. The standard of the cottage in every respect was excellent. A great place for walking from the front door and for accessing local amenities. March 2012.
  6. Good location, in the countryside but not too far away from main roads for access to visit places of interest in the area and further afield. Excellent accommodation, cosy, comfy, clean, well equipped and organised. We loved the large wood burner in the lounge area and a good supply of wood was provided. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property. March 2012.
  7. Very comfortable, spacious, light and airy, and well equipped. Lovely views of surrounding countryside. Extremely quiet. I would highly recommend this property. March 2012.
  8. An amazing house, probably the best holiday home we have ever stayed in. My 4 year old daughter called it ’fabulous’! The owners made us feel very welcome with the basket of treats left for use to enjoy. There was plenty of info on the surrounding area and the activities available suited younger and older children. We had a lovely holiday and shall be returning! Feb 2012.
  9. I booked this property for a weekend away to propose to my girlfriend. It could not have been more perfect. It is an amazing property; spacious yet cosy. The decor is beautiful and the whole place has been finished to a very high standard, without losing the character of the beautiful building. The renovation is fantastic; the photographs do not do it justice. The location is amazing too, with great walks straight from the front door. It’s so quiet and peaceful. The owners (who live next door but are completely unobtrusive) left a lovely basket of goodies for our arrival, and plenty of wood for the wood burner. We loved this place and will definitely be returning in the future, probably as part of our honeymoon. Outstanding quality and value. Feb 2012.
  10. Fabulously converted chapel, very comfortable and many welcome little touches that you simply don’t find anywhere else. Oct 2011.
  11. First class accommodation, very well equipped, excellent location. All one needs for a satisfying get away from it all holiday. Sept 2011.
  12. Highly rate this cottage. It was comfortable, spacious and spotless. The owners have really thought about their guests’ needs and have surpassed themselves. A lovely welcome basket and fresh flowers on arrival. A perfect setting. My family (two adults, one five year old) had a wonderful time here. August 2011.
  13. We read previous reviews before booking and the cottage lived up to all of them. The owner was very friendly and there was a lovely welcoming basket on arrival. Area quiet with lovely views from the cottage. Would recommend to anybody. July 2011.
  14. All the comforts of home. July 2011.
  15. Very well equipped with ’nice’ things, ie not the often seen ’odds and ends’ that people put in holiday cottages. Very clean and spacious, cosy without being cramped. Comfy beds and stylish decor and fittings. Nov 2010.
  16. Superb holiday cottage, great for walking, or visiting several local towns, also great place just to relax with lovely log burner and plenty of books, games and dvd’s. We had a great time and would certainly go back. Oct 2010.
  17. Very well equipped, very comfortable and very clean. Sept 2010.
  18. A fantastic property in a wonderful location. Maintained to a high standard with all the comforts of home. A wealth of information is provided by the owners on all the local attractions, plus details of local walks with maps provided. What more could you need. Sept 2010.
  19. Furnished to a very high standard, nice and warm on arrival. Nov 2010.
