Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. What a lovely little cottage, only 50yards from a pub which served very good food if you didn’t want to cook and it was a pleasure to be woken by the sound of skylarks and not the alarm clock or thundering traffic. May 2012.
  2. Cosy cottage with all you need and more! Bath robes and binoculars for watching the wildlife, lovely touches. May 2012.
  3. Small but perfectly formed, the Byre is great for a short stay for two people. Things like the binoculars to view the wildlife in the fields behind the cottage were a really nice touch. Although it’s essentially in the owner’s back garden, we didn’t feel overlooked and quickly relaxed. Got to say it was one of the best equipped cottages we’ve stayed in. Oct 2011.
  4. Good walking directly from cottage. Many other walks and places of interest between 1/2 and 3/4 hr drive. 15 minutes drive to Stratford to visit Royal Shakespeare Company. Excellent food and beer 200yd away at the Golden Cross. Aug 2011.
  5. Very good, had every thing needed to make to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. July 2011.
  6. Compact, thoughtfully furnished, well equipped and very comfortable. Mind your head in the bedroom (sloping ceilings). March 2011.
  7. Very clean and comfortable. Oct 2010.

  10. Clean and well presented. Warm welcome from the owner when we arrived. Quiet setting within easy reach of many attractions. July 2010.
  11. An excellent week. We were sorry to leave and would have stayed longer if it had been available. May 2010.
  12. Ideal size and most facilities. May 2010.
  13. This is a beautiful well equipped cottage in a quiet location but within easy reach of many interesting tourist locations. The pub was within walking distance and served fantastic food. The owners were helpful but unobtrusive and our stay was very enjoyable indeed. Would highly recommend to anyone for whom steep steps to bedroom are not a problem. April 2010.
  14. Location. March 2010.
