  1. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need. Comfy and cosy. The owners are so lovely and bring u lovely things. I feel it would be helpful if there was a sign that you can see at night time to direct you to the cottage. Sept 2012.
  2. A very comfortable, quiet and rural property in a great location for exploring Herefordshire, Powys and Gloustershire. May 2012.
  3. This was our second visit to the Bullpen and it was a lovely as the first. The property and location are beautiful and the milk, butter, local apple juice, home made biscuits and flowers are a very thoughtful gesture... The rooms are decorated and furnished perfectly I love being able to do the washing before I leave so I don’t have it to do when I get home. March 2012.

With very nice and welcoming owners who make you very welcome, It was such a lovely end to the day to sit back with the log burner warming you up while it was cold outside crunching on the fresh hand made biscuits before retiring to the large and comfy big bed. Feb 2012.

  10. Compact but it didn’t feel small. Ideal for a couple. The property is very well planned and every comfort supplied by caring owners with exceptional eye for detail. They obviously enjoy welcoming people to the cottage and go the extra mile. It was interesting to note that they obviously read guests’ comments in the book and reacted to them promptly. No corners had been cut and furnishings were of high quality. One of the best, if not the best, UK properties we have stayed in. We thoroughly recommend The Bullpen. July 2011.
  11. Excellent property - well worth it’s 4 Star Rating. Comfortable and well appointed. The bed was fantastic! Nice to receive the homemade biscuits, milk, fresh eggs & apple juice when we got there and the owner was very welcoming. Lovely setting, very peaceful, just some sheep, cows and hens for company! Great if you are looking for a relaxing break away from everyday life. A food pub restaurant only 5 minutes drive away. I would thoroughly recommend it. June 2011.
  12. The Bullpen was a little piece of rural heaven, the location was private and secluded, our only visible neighbours sheep and lambs!! On arrival we were greeted by the owner who welcomed us and had made delicious biscuits and provided milk, butter and local apple juice. We made good use of the patio area even though we visited in March the weather was bright and sunny for a couple of days. The Bullpen itself was beautifully and practically fitted out with everything we needed. We will definitely be booking for next year as soon as we can. March 2011.
