  4. The cottage is well situated because Bellingham is a lovely little village. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We went for meals at the Cheviot Hotel and can highly recommend it. The food is above average and the prices reasonable. You can also take your dog as long as you eat in the bar. Oct 2011.
  5. Excellent dog friendly accomodation provided here. The sensible layout ensures that even in adverse weather conditions you should be able to clean and care for your pet whilst maintaining the pristine condition of the upper level lounge and bedroom areas which have the feel of a cosy and romantic loft style apartment. Oct 2011.

  19. Although the weather was very snowy for most of the week, this did not affect our enjoyment of our holiday! The weather conditions on occasions it enhanced it! i.e. Slip, Sliding along Hadrian’s Wall or the very crunchy walk around Kielder Water, making the first footprints in the deep snow! Feb 2009.
  20. The cottage was great, extremely comfortable and welcoming. We all (including the dog) felt instantly at home. It was also well appointed for dog walks and an excellent hotel/ restaurant where we ate out several times. The cottage kitchen was also very well equipped. We loved our holiday and hope to repeat it in the future. April 2008.
