Ideal for golf, horse riding nearby. Shops 3 miles, pub 1 mile.

This property is close to the 2014 Tour de France route, come and experience the spectacular scenery for yourself and follow in the trail of some true cycling legends.

  1. Clean spacious modern cottage which is well equipped. Location is next door to the owners who are most helpful. Nearest shops 3m away and lots to do and see nearby. Recommended to all. July 2011.
  2. On the whole an excellent base for a weekend away. If I was staying longer would have found hooks on the bedroom/bathroom doors useful. a vac cleaner and mop/bucket inside the actual kitchen rather than in a wardrobe, and a few more mugs. The garden was lovely and relaxing and well kitted out for children. Would have been nice to have had a farm foods grocery list to complete before the holiday, and it delivered to the fridge, as shopping for food was a bit of a chore, even though there are some good butchers nearby, and as it was a 3 day break, we would have loved to sample more local cheeses and chocolate without having to hunt for the best places. July 2011.
  3. The Barn was a beautiful property, we had plenty of space to not be on top of each other. It was furnished to a very high standard and was well equipped with everything, you could want even down to a pizza cutter. We made good use of the games and books, which were provided. The only downside was, we went out too much and didn’t spend as much time in it, as we would of liked to. We had a wonderful stay. July 2011.
