This detached 2-storey converted apple store is on the edge of the owner’s cottage garden, and has stunning views over the countryside. Coulston village nestles beneath the chalk downs of Salisbury Plain, offering walking and cycling across the plain or along the White Horse Trail. Nearby Devizes is a bustling market town, with the famous Caen Hill flight of locks on the Kennet and Avon Canal, and the traditional Wadsworth Brewery. Bath and Salisbury are within easy reach, and also the picturesque villages of Castle Combe and Lacock. Stately homes to visit include Longleat, Stourhead, Bowood and Wilton House. Shops 2½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

  3. The Apple Store is a lovely place to stay. We had a warm greeting on arrival, from Kate and Chris. There was Eggs, Butter, Milk, and Bread, beautiful fresh flowers from the garden, in the hall, and in the bedroom, very thoughtful. Maps ready for a nice walk. They had thought of everything, even Air Con in the bedroom!!! The views from the bedroom were just lovely. Super area to visit. The visit from Jet the Dog each day was also a plus! We would highly recommend, but just mind your head in the bedroom if your tall! The shower room was quite cosy also! Go on take a look for yourself, we are sure you will have a super relaxing holiday, just like we did. June 2012.
  4. A warm reception from Chris, Kate and Jet awaits at the Apple Store chalet! Milk, eggs, bread, butter, for your first night/ morning. Devizes, Warminster, Salisbury, Avebury, Swindon Steam Museum all within easy reach. We had a thoroughly lovely time and hope to return. March 2012.

  9. Very cosy and comfortably furnished. Even though it was November we didn’t feel cold at all. The only thing was that we would have preferred it to be less on top of the owner’s home. Nov 2011.

The cottage was beautiful and the people who owned it were very thoughtful with little extras that they did for us - maps of the local areas, bread, milk and eggs left etc. The walks in the area were fantastic, you could walk for miles through woodland and open grass areas. We loved it and so did the dogs. Very relaxing and perfect. Oct 2011.
  11. It was fantastic place to unwind, you can just chill at the cottage and go no where and still have a fantastic holiday. Owners are really warm and friendly and so is their Dog. Loved him. Very considerate and we had a travel cot and stair gate ready on arrival. Will go there again. Aug 2011.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
