Nestled peacefully in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, adjacent to National Trust land, Higher Tresmorn boasts some truly spectacular sea views. This is the ideal spot in which to relax and unwind. The 16th-century farm buildings have been converted to a very high standard retaining plenty of character and charm. The Annexe sits adjacent to the owner’s farmhouse. With its galleried bedroom over spacious open-plan living area, it is a very romantic hideaway. Little Wren and Swallows Swoop are single-storeyed, standing together and are perfect for families and friends while The Roundhouse is a superb, spacious, open-plan detached property with sea views from the patio and a cosy wood-burning stove for those colder evenings. Dramatic views can be enjoyed from the coastal path or walks along the cliff top discovering the many hidden coves. A beautiful, quiet and secluded part of Cornwall rich in natural beauty and character. Take to the surf at Crackington Haven or Widemouth Bay or explore the many rockpools. Whether surfing, walking the coastal path, playing golf, fishing or simply relaxing, this stunning location has something for everyone. Crackington Haven is just a few mintues’ drive and has an excellent beach shop and tea rooms and beachside pub serving good food. The popular resort of Bude is just 12 miles and has an excellent range of shops and restaurants along with tennis, surf school, indoor splash pool, bowling and three more sandy beaches. The picturesque fishing villages of Tintagel, Port Isaac and Padstow are close by. For a great day out visit Crealy Adventure Park, the Blue Reef Aquarium and the famous Eden Project. Shops and pub 2 miles.

  1. The location of this cottage is excellent for exploring the area especially by foot as you can access the coastal path without getting in the car! The lady who owns the property is very welcoming and left lovely touches of fresh milk and a bottle of wine on our first day. This cottage is perfect for a couple who want to spend the majority of their time exploring the fantastic area and of course welcomes dogs. Our dog had the time of his life playing on the beach and climbing the cliffs. Nov 2012.

  7. My Wife and I wanted a peaceful relaxing holiday with our two small dogs. It was exactly what we wanted! We were able to take the dogs for daily walks and the Supermarket was only five minutes from the property. There was Milk, Tea, Coffee and sugar for us when we arrived. The host was most welcoming and made us feel that the annexe was ours, during our stay. The Beach was only 15 minutes away. We are definitely going to book another stay this year and would recommend to anyone. ENJOY!! March 2012.

Set less than a mile from the coast in beautifully kept grounds, Higher Tresmorn comprises a very attractive farmhouse with a number of outbuildings converted into holiday lets, and although all of these were occupied while we were there, we never once felt crowded. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as did our Labrador puppy. As well as being extremely comfortable, the Annexe served as a great base to explore the surrounding area in our somewhat incontinent vintage Austin 7, including Crackington Hill, one of the sections of the Lands End Trial!   14. The Annexe was in a beautiful and peaceful place. It was close to shops, a pub and within driving distance of lots of other places. The owner (Emma) was also very friendly and gave some ideas on places to see. April 2010.
  15. Wonderful little cottage that looks bigger from the inside. A lovely scenery for a romantic time in Cornwall. The owner is a very nice lady who helps you with everything! The house is part of a farm, so if you don’t like cows, horses and other animals it will not be the right place to stay. But when you love all that as we do, you will feel like you have reached heaven. Oct 2009.
