In a country setting, this pleasant, independent holiday apartment forms part of a beautifully restored house with an attractive garden and extensive grounds.

The friendly, discreet owners occupy the main house and guests are invited to share their swimming pool (9m x 9m, depth 1.2 - 1.9m). The apartment offers superb views from its raised terrace, and a shaded terrace with summer kitchen.

Terrasson (3km) an historical riverside town has supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, shops and Thursday market. An easy drive will take you to the caves of Lascaux, Sarlat and the Dordogne River.

Ground floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner, 1 double bedroom. First floor: Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. External summer kitchen with toilet and basin.

Central heating, colour TV, internet connection, washer/dryer (in garage), microwave, enclosed lawned garden, terrace, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 1 car. Sorry, no pets. NB: 20 steps to the entrance.

  10. The nearby town of Terrasson was just 10 minutes drive. The old town was charming with the two bridges over the Vezere, the chateau with amazing views over the valley and a vibrant Thursday market. We found the house to be charming and comfortable and would certainly recommend it to others. The pool was relaxing, the views from the balcony and the garden idyllic, and Irene and Michel were wonderfully helpful and friendly when we needed them. Aug 2009.
