Next to the River Tamar in the picturesque sailing village of Cargreen, this semi-detached house is the ideal holiday base for those who love the waterside and boats. The bedrooms are on the ground floor and the first floor living/dining room enjoys spectacular views of yachts moored in the river and countryside beyond. Boats can be launched in the village. Plymouth, with its historic, nautical and city attractions is just 7 miles away and the beautiful Tamar Valley winds from the house through stunning country to the western fringe of Dartmoor. Shop and pub 2 miles, restaurant 3 miles.

Ground floor: 3 bedrooms: 1 double with French windows and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and toilet, 2 twin. Bathroom with toilet. First floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. Utility room. Separate toilet.

  1. Our stay was lovely. The position was very quite which meant a family like our with two children we had to venture out and about. This was our first holiday that we did so much travelling. We visited Newquay, Mevigessey and Portmouth. We also went to Anythony House during our stay and Saltrum House on the last day of our holiday which are both National Trust properties. July 2012.

  16. The house was spacious and accommodated 6 in comfort. Courtyard parking was a little tight for a people carrier, but the location made up for that. We had a very happy fortnight with our young children and were sad to leave. Aug 2006.
