Alternatively the apartment can provide a restful haven from which to relax and unwind in the village life of Gilwern. The Newport to Brecon Canal is close by with Abergavenny only 3 miles away, Brecon 12 miles. Blaenavon, the industrial world heritage site and the numerous cultural sites of the Welsh valleys are only a few miles away. Shops and pubs ½ mile.
