Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. It was all we wanted quiet, good for walks with the dog, owners were friendly, and so were the locals in the pub in the village. Dec 2012.
  2. Despite the poor weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Tack Room. It’s in a beautiful setting with outstanding views. The owner was very friendly and helpful, as was everyone else we met. Great atmosphere at the two local pubs - The Black Swan (a short walk away) and The Tump (excellent pub meals). We’d definitely go back again. May 2012.
  3. This is a beautifully decorated property with very friendly hosts! Lots of great places to visit near by and a lovely cosy converted farm house to come back to. Nov 2011.
  4. Convenient for Hereford. Very quiet. Feb 2011.
  5. Excellent accommodation with friendly owners. Jan 2011.
  6. Well situated, plenty to do and see in the surrounding areas, lovely for a quiet country stay. Aug 2010.
  7. It was set in 1.5 acres of garden area which was good for children. The Tack Room, whilst compact was very homely and a great base for exploring Herefordshire. April 2010.
  8. Clean, bright with modern and comfortable furniture. Good location, excellent use of owners land for dog walking. March 2010.
  9. We didn’t expect our puppy to have the fantastic time she did. She spent hours playing with the dogs on the farm and really had an amazing time. Our children also enjoyed learning about farming and playing in the barn and fields.. Everything you needed; delightful hosts; fantastic views. Aug 2009.
  10. Plenty of room and nice views. Aug 2009.
  11. Excellent location close to several places to visit: Hereford, Symond’s Yat, Ross on Wye, Brecon. Great pub five minutes walk away (take a torch for journey back!) Feb 2009.
  12. The pictures in the brochure really didnt do this place justice. It has the most amazing view over the countryside beyond with not a single building in site for what seems like miles. We were welcomed by the owner of the cottage who was so nice and said that we could go wherever we liked on the 360 acres that they owned. He recommended some pubs to go to and places to eat. Very enjoyable relaxing break. I would definitely book to go there again and next time take more people and rent more of the cottages available. March 2008.
  13. They were the best beds either of us had ever slept in away from our homes, where we got to pick. The settees were extremely comfortable and the cooking facilities excellent. May 2009.
  14. The tack room first class as were the very friendly owners. Lovely views across the valley and mountains on the Welsh border. The local pub, the black swan is such a friendly place and serves excellent food 7 days a week. I hope to visit there again P.S. A great place for kids and pets. Oct 2008.
  15. Lovely setting and excellent cottage. Ideal base for touring Brecon Beacons and Herefordshire. Would definately return here. Very friendly owners. May 2008.
