  2. This is a beautiful house full of character. The location beside the sea is great especially with a dog. Although there is not alot to do in Allonby this is a good base for seeing the lakes. April 2011.
  3. Absolutely brilliant location for dog walking, the beaches are endless. The only drawback was parking, which was sometimes difficult. A pass is needed for all parking in Cumbria towns but this is free from the local council office! April 2011.

Allonby is very handy for Maryport, Workington and Whitehaven.
