1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

In South Somerset, midway between the north and south coast and in the quaint village of Hambridge, on the Somerset levels, these two well presented holiday cottages, one for four and one for two (one attached to the owners farmhouse), offer a great location to enjoy the rich diversity of scenery and attractions to be found in this popular area. There are a wealth of family venues, such as the famous Cheddar Gorge and caves, the enchanting Glastonbury Tor with its fantastic views over Somerset, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum and the scenic West Somerset Steam Railway to Minehead to name a few. Or visit many historic houses such as Fyne Court (NT), Barrington Court (NT) and Montacute House and gardens (NT), or simply relax with country walking, cycling, golf and coarse fishing (in season) on the owners river bank. For days out explore Lyme Bay with its popular seaside resorts of Lyme Regis, Bridport and Seaton, the Blackdown Hills, or not too far the Exmoor National Park. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

  1. Very comfortable, peaceful location. Langport is a short drive and has all the amenities you will need including a large Tesco Store. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing break. The Smokery is well worth a visit and try the local cider. Lovely walks straight from the farm. We will be returning. Oct 2012.
  2. Comfortable cottage and well equiped. Mention is made of a step to the kitchen but not that there are 2 steps from the bedrooms. These do not have a handrail and may be a problem for less able clients. Sept 2012.
  3. The cottage is well equipped, clean and spacious. There are geese and chickens and horses in the grounds and the location is very quiet. Lovely walks and places to visit nearby. Helpful friendly family. 5* HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. June 2012.
  4. Very modern refurbished cottage, a real home from home which was ideal with our five month old son. Furnishings comfortable and more than you would expect from a three star. Would definitely recommend for relaxing holiday and exploring Somerset. Lovely family, chickens and geese a highlight! The photos on the website do not do Punch Cottage justice. Sept 2011.
